PRIVACY
Your tally stays under your control.
This draft explains what Dino Rig stores, when a photo leaves your device, and the choices available to you.
Last updated September 20, 2026
What happens on your device
Dino Rig reads printed tally sheets with browser-based OCR. That recognition runs locally; the photo is not sent to an OCR provider. Handwriting is unsupported, and Dino Rig does not guess unclear or missing values. You must review readings before export or account saving.
Working drafts may be kept in your browser so interrupted work can resume. Browser settings, storage cleanup, private browsing, device loss, or storage refusal can clear or prevent those drafts.
What reaches the cloud
Cloud saving is optional. A photo and its reviewed tally data are uploaded only when you explicitly choose Save to account or save a field-job record that includes that evidence. Account records use Better Auth and Cloudflare D1; uploaded source photos use private Cloudflare R2 storage. Resend provides account verification and password-recovery email when configured.
Stripe handles payment-card details for Pro subscriptions. Dino Rig does not receive or store your full card number.
Records and deletion
- Saved data includes account details, tally or field-job inputs, calculated results, review state, exports, version history, and optional source photos.
- Deleting a tally removes that tally and its source. If you previously copied it into a saved field job, that independent field-job copy remains.
- There is not yet a self-service control to delete an entire account. Use the support page for current assistance and launch status.
